Even though the Electoral Commission is yet to collate all the results from the 35 polling stations in the New Juaben South Constituency, preliminary results indicate that Michael Okyere Baafi has won by a landslide.
The incumbent, Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah, who is the Chairman of the Finance Committee Chairman, could not do much to change the minds of the delegates who had long taken a decision to vote him out.
Most party supporters in the constituency are in white apparel jubilating all over.
Michael Okyere Baafo, according to certified results by the Electoral Commission, polled 370 votes while Dr. Assibey-Yeboah, polled 200 votes.
