Rawlings registers for new voters ID

A former President of the Republic, Jerry John Rawlings, on Thursday, July 9, 2020, registered for a new voters ID card in the ongoing voters registration exercise.

Mr. Rawlings got registered at the PWD Maintenance Unit Castle registration in the Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

He was accompanied by his daughter, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, who is the lawmaker of the Korle Klottey constituency.

Both had their nose masks on and observed all the COVID-19 protocols before, during and after the registration exercise.

The presence of the former Ghanaian leader drew a large crowd compelling him to depart the premises as soon the voters ID Card was issued to him.
