A seventeen-old boy has drowned in an abandoned quarry pit near Liberia Camp in the Central Region.
The boy whose name is immediately not known had gone swimming in the abandoned quarry pit with his schoolmates after weekend class when he met his untimely death.
He was a JHS 3 student.
His body was on Sunday, June 12, 2022, retrieved from the pit and sent to the mortuary at a hospital in Budumburam.
The police are investigating the incident.
