We’re working to resolve our network challenges – EC

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced that its technical team has been able to resolve about 98% of the challenges relating to its network that led to delays in the commencement of the registration in some centres on Sunday, July 12, 2020.

In a statement issued on Monday, July 13, 2020, the election management body said it was “confident” the remaining issues will be addressed same day to “enable registration take place at all the centres without delays”.

It reiterated its assurance of making up for the time lost.

The third phase of the EC’s registration exercise commenced on Sunday amid widespread complaints of delay at most centres.
