The Police have launched a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a money collection point at Anyinase near Essiama in the Ellembelle District in the Western Region on April 11, 2023.
The armed robbers had entered the premises of the money collection point on motorbikes under the pretext of transacting business.
However, the unassuming robbers suddenly attacked the workers at gunpoint and in the process, took them hostage and made away with an unspecified amount of money.
A statement issued by the Police said “intelligence operations are ongoing to get the perpetrators arrested and we will surely get them.”
