A vote for Akufo-Addo means four more years to steal from you – Mahama tells Ghanaians

The Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians, especially, those who have taken a decision to vote for the Presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to reconsider their decision and vote for him.

According to John Dramani Mahama, a vote for Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the December 7th general elections will do a great disservice to the nation, stressing that it will empower the President and his appointees to steal four more years from Ghanaians.

“Akufo Addo and the NPP have been deceiving Ghanaians with their sweet talk claiming they have massively developed Ghana and so they need to be given for more years in power. Four more years for what? To steal more of our money, to continue with their shameful nepotism. For more to do what? Four more to steal more. As for Akufo Addo government if you are not a family member of the President you don’t benefit”, he noted.

Mr. Mahama made this observation when addressing a rally at Ejura in the Ashanti Region.

Commenting further, he promised to build an ultra-modern market for the people of Ejura when he’s elected as President in the December 7 polls.

He said Ejura will have a ‘mini-Kejatia’ market which will boast of ancillary facilities, urging all to massively vote for him and his parliamentary candidate in the December 7th general elections.

As for us, we are known to be promise and do. When we promise we deliver. We never fail to honour our promises. There’s enough evidence for all to see that backs my claims. There are new markets in Asawase, Atonsu, Tafo, Kejetia, Ho Central, Abirem, all these were constructed by my government. So I promise you Ejura will also have a new market”, he insisted.

Aside the market, the NDC presidential candidate also promised to build a new hospital in Ejura to serve the people.
