The Police have shot dead four suspected armed robbers following an intense gun battle on Monday morning at Shiashie, a suburb of Accra.
The suspected armed robbers, politicoghana.com understands, were accosted by the Police having succeeded in a robbery operation in the Shiashie enclave.
Sources say the suspected armed robbers were numbering six, with two said to be on their heels.
The bodies of the suspects have been sent to the Police Hospital for autopsy.
