The Ministry of Youth and Sports has sent a Goodwill message to Isaac Dogboe, urging him to fight Chris Avalos with all his strength since Ghana is behind him.
In a statement signed by the sector Minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, and release in Accra on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, the Ministry said “Ghanaians are very confident that Dogboe will come out victorious in this encounter and make Ghana proud after the bout”.
Dogboe is billed to fight Chris Avalos an an epic boxing bout tonight in Las Vegas in the Featherweight division.
He is returning to the ring having suffered defeats in his last two fights against Emmanuel Navarrete.
To the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dogboe who is known in the boxing world as the ‘Royal Storm’ has showed a lot of tenacity to return to the ring and has learnt all the lessons to overturn his defeat.
“The Ministry takes this opportunity to encourage Dogboe never to get weary in the ring but fight all his strength as the whole nation is solidly behind him”, the statement in part read.
It therefore, entreated all Ghanaians to throw their weight behind the young boxer and back him within prayers to succeed for the whole nation
