COVID-19: Ghana’s case count up to 8,070

Ghana’s COVID-19 case count has shot up to 8,070, as at Sunday, May, 31, 2020, President Akufo-Addo has disclosed.

The recoveries have also increased significantly, hitting 2,947, while death toll still stands at 36.

Thirteen (13) persons are said to be severely ill, with three (3) in critical condition. One of those in critical condition is said to be on a ventilator while a total number of 5,087 are said to be on treatment at home, isolation centers and hospitals.

President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, made the disclosure to the nation on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in his 10th update on measures the country has put in place to mitigate the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Ghana.

Ghana has so far made 218,425 tests.
