The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced a toll-free call centre established to assist voters to relay their concerns and challenges on Election Day.
A statement issued by the EC on Thursday noted that callers countrywide may use any network to reach the Commission’s dedicated officials for a prompt response.
“A Toll-Free number 0800-100-100 has been secured for this purpose. As such callers will not be charged for calls made to the Toll-Free Number.”
The EC says the “initiative is to provide prompt responses to voters to improve the voting experiences on Election Day”.
The centre, according to the EC, will be managed by its trained staff.
